Join Us for the Final Weekend of the Season

All good things come to an end. We have had a wonderful season and will close this Sunday at 5 pm until next spring. Many vegetables are still available as well as pumpkins, cornstalks, mums (buy 2 get 1 free), dried flowers for long lasting bouquets, raspberry jam, basil vinegar and raspberry wine vinegar – both great on salads.

Join us for the final weekend of the season. Thank you for making 2014 our best year yet!

The End of the 2014 Season

We will be CLOSED this Wednesday (Tomorrow) and Thursday (Oct 24). This weekend will be the final weekend of the season and the last days we are open. We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

Thank you for making 2014 our best year yet!

Raspberry Fields Oct 16 & 17

The raspberry fields will be closed to picking on Thursday and Friday October 16 & 17. They will re-open on Saturday October 18 at 9 am. The flower field and Herb garden are open for cutting. The farm stand is open Tuesday & Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 9-6, and Friday-Sunday 9-5.

What to do with a pumpkin?

What to do with a pumpkin – carve it, cook it and eat it, use as is, or cut off the top, clean it out and use it as a flower vase. Mom made one and I made the other. We have the pumpkins and flowers at the farm – you have the flower arranging talent (reallyMom's pix you do!) Mary's pix

Sunny Sunday

Although today’s rain put a damper on picking out just the right pumpkin, berry picking and planting mums, it is a welcome relief from drought conditions. Sunday is going to be sunny and cool – great for berry picking, pumpkin carving and mum planting, so come on out and enjoy a relaxing visit to the farm. And be sure to take home a free flower.

What We Are Picking Now

We are picking many raspberry varieties: Prelude, Himbo Top, Caroline and Autumn Britton as well as the yellow raspberry variety Anne. Pick-your-own or purchase picked berries in the farmstand.

The Flower field is blooming with a wide variety of colors and The Herb garden has many culinary herbs – all available for cut-your-own.

Pumpkins of all sizes for carving, baking and just plain enjoying surround the buckboard and field entry. Blooming and soon-to-be-blooming Mums as well as Kale and cornstalks round out our fall decorating items.

Vegetables are continuing to be harvested and are in the farmstand.

Enjoy a refreshing stroll at the farm this fall!

Thursday October 2

Our Raspberry fields will be closed to picking on Thursday Oct 2. They will re-open for picking on Friday Oct 3 at 9 am. The farm stand is open Tuesday through Sunday, rain and shine. Vegetables, flowers,  herbs, jams, and vinegars are available. Come on out to the farm this fall for pumpkins, mums and cornstalks, too.

Raspberry Field Closed Today

Due to the rain last night and this morning, the berry fields are closed today, Friday September 26. Berry picking will resume tomorrow, Saturday September 27 at 9AM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
