Halloween at the Farm

There are many interesting things you can do with pumpkins: carve them, roast the seeds (yummy!), make a pumpkin pie, use it in a Halloween display or as a vase for flowers (see the picture to the right)

The season still isn’t quite over. We have available:
– winter & summer squash (it will keep for months if stored in a cool place)
– peppers
– eggplant
– kale
– scallions
– radicchio
– beets
– (lots of) tomatoes
– pumpkins
– Mums.

And, of course, we still have Raspberries, our Raspberry Jam, Basil Vinegar and Raspberry Wine Vinegar.

Wednesday August 7, 2013

The berry fields will be closed on Wednesday August 7 because the plants were picked clean today. They will reopen on Thursday morning at 9:30. The farm stand will be open with fresh picked vegetables, fresh herbs and cut your own flowers.

Friday July 26

Due to the extensive rain we received this week, the raspberry field will be closed to picking on Friday July 26, and will re-open on Saturday at 7:30 am. The flower field and herb garden will be open on Friday and fresh picked vegetables will be available in the farm stand. We regret any inconvenience this may have on your Friday plans.
