Season Opens Saturday June 16, 2012

We have had a busy spring on the farm installing deer fence to be able to expand our vegetable production, installing two high tunnels for earlier production, expanding the flower field and planting an herb garden with many more herbs than we had last year. Our earliest raspberry – Prelude – is loaded with berries.

Our Farm stand will be opening on Saturday, June 16 at 9:30 am with many fresh vegetables including several kinds of lettuce, radishes, cucumbers and beets all grown in our high tunnels. We have one tunnel devoted to cherry tomatoes and big tomatoes – we hope to have some ripe that weekend. Our first raspberries of the season are expected to be ready that weekend as well. And if you like beautiful flowers for a bright and cheery bouquet, many flowers are already blooming! Aidan, our very friendly lab, will be ready to greet you when you arrive.

Our 2012 stand and pick-your-own hours are tentatively scheduled to be Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm, and Wednesday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. For special occasions where you would like flowers on days we are closed, the flower field will be open by appointment. Call us at 860-786-7486 or email us at info@raspberryknoll.com.
